If you deliberately or carelessly misinform the insurers, this could mean that your premium increases, a claim is not fully paid, or your policy is cancelled.

Discussing your insurance quote

We often contact clients by telephone to discuss their Porsche Classic Car Insurance quotation. This allows us to confirm key details, answer any questions you may have, and provide further clarity on your cover and premium options.

Your contact details will be used only in connection with your insurance quotation, policy administration, and related customer service, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Data checks and credit searches

Porsche Financial Services may use legal public sources such as the electoral roll and other third-party sources such as credit reference agencies to obtain information about you, for example to verify your identity or check your credit history.

They also obtain information about you from credit reference agencies and similar third parties. Some personal information may be provided to them by third parties such as insurance companies, other insurance intermediaries, and motor vehicle licensing authorities. In some cases, you will have previously submitted your personal information to them and given them approval to pass this information on for certain purposes.

Such information will only be obtained from reputable sources which operate in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation.

Data Protection

Porsche Classic Car Insurance is sold and administered by Porsche Insurance Brokers, which is a trading name of Lawshield UK Limited, Authorised and Regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Please refer to their Privacy policy for information regarding how your personal data will be used by them.

Porsche Classic Car Insurance is underwritten by Chubb European Group SE. Chubb will process your personal data for their own separate purposes; please refer to their Privacy policy for information regarding how your personal data will be used by them.

Eligibility criteria

This is a policy quotation for customers to be able to drive their Porsche on the public highway. To qualify for Porsche Classic Car Insurance, you must be able to confirm 'yes' to all of the following statements. If you cannot confirm any of the statements, please contact us to discuss on 0333 043 786.

• You or any family member (any member of your household residing with you) has not had insurance declined, cancelled or terms imposed.
• You or any family member (any member of your household residing with you) have no unspent non-motoring convictions.
• You or any family member (any member of your household residing with you) have not been declared bankrupt within the last 10 years.
• You or any family member (any member of your household residing with you) have not entered into an individual voluntary agreement within the last 10 years.
• You or any family member (any member of your household residing with you) have no notifiable medical conditions or disabilities that must be declared to the DVLA.
• You are 30 years of age or more and have held a full driving licence for 3 years or more.
• No drivers under 30 years of age will be driving the vehicle(s).
• You have a separate main use vehicle.
• There are no performance enhancing modifications to any of the vehicles (a performance enhancing modification means an increase of 20% or more to the original manufacturers specification to the engine power and/or any change that had to be notified to DVLA, excluding respray).
• The vehicle(s) are registered in the United Kingdom.
• The vehicle(s) will not spend more than 6 months a year overseas.
